Piastri is half a second ahead of Norris, but then if you see between LEC in P3 and ALO in P8 the gap is only 3 tenths.

Let's hope as the diffuser said that they did not max the power up cause Stroll was in no man's land all 3 sessions.

Yeah I echo Niko’s view. The gap to become the second fastest isn’t insurmountable especially with Newey’s lunch break tips for the silverstone update. The fact he even mentioned it at all shows hes feeling good about it. Newey is coming.

That was wweird, went back out on those tires in Q2 but didn't put in a lap.

Some newey lunchtime magic could put alonso in p3 behind the two mclarens potentially. Would be there in the first run of Q2 with only 17 hundredths. There is hope as last.

Because of Helmet Cam, someone thinks I want to stare at Alonso Helmet, I couldn't tell if that first run was on the used or new set of softs. The 2nd run was on new softs but he abandon'd that run when hit the first corner.
