So he has two new sets? Or one with just an outlap?
Like I said, couldn't tell. They kept showing me Alonso's Helmet for the most of the out lap.

Bernie Collins saying Alonso has 1 new set, but the used one might be the one from the abandoned lap, so 1.75ish sets if that one was new before that.

Going out now so two I think.
P5 on the semi used set if he is going again.

Great lap by Alonso, regardless where he finishes.

The question is if he used the new set in that run or not. Ahead of max. He might be done.
Edit: Still in the pit so only one set then.. But good job with the car he has.

Yeah p10, weird strategy as always.. Too early with the track ramp up...
But you can overtake on this track so he can fight for his first points tomorrow hopefully.

Great job by Nando! One more functional upgrade and we will be in the mix with Ferrari.

Alonso was 0.092 slower than the best time in S3, 4th over all, a sector notorious for a tell tail sign for how good a car is in low speed corners.

The biggest problem for tomorrow is the top speed. Aston is so slown in the straights, very draggy, but, we can pray for "the silverstone upgrades". Stroll was P14, i think the Aston are not better than we think they are, Stroll reflect the real performance that car.

Let's not always BLINDLY blame the strategy. Alonso was a tenth slower in S1 on his final lap than he was on his Q2 lap. If he would have matched that time, he would have moved up 2 spots. If he would have moved up another tenth, he would have been neck and neck with Hamilton.

The opportunity was there at the time he ran.

The Williamses have failed, but it wasn't enough because others have replaced them. And since LH has woken up... ALO 10th... and thank goodness.

We've improved; we now look like a more professional team, and the effects of the new signings are starting to show... but results are still lacking.

I hope the race pace has improved further. We'll see tomorrow ...

We was 0.2 slower than Hamilton, so, i mean, Miami we finished 20secondes behind Hulkenberg, its a HUGE improvment, finally, we need pray to Silverstone.
