You cant really predict a safety car, so how was that failing?

Or do you mean starting at softs? Knowing they'd need 2 stops, that doesnt seem like a terrible decision. But the dreadful start meant they couldn't capitalize.

those guys starting on hards should have switched to two stops under SC

The quali product needs fixing so drivers don't need to break on straights but the product on race day is much better

Ferrari just have to stay out at this point and if we get a late SC they will have a massive advantage on tyre warmup
