I've got nothing positive to say about Colapinto
Oscar also suggested they pit early to maintain positionrenault rs26 wrote: ↑29 Mar 2026, 07:54Stupid strategy by McLaren. Oscar said if they keep track position they can win and immidiately they glave position.
If you are so fast and can prolong the stint not losing pace and looking after tires…then you can create your own luck and stop under the SC. We’ve seen that with Hamilton so many times in his Mercedes days.
This is what I thought might be an issue. Reactionary blocks with these closing speeds will be airplane crash, or what Bearman did. They said Bearman was 45km/h quicker than Colapinto.SoulPancake13 wrote: ↑29 Mar 2026, 08:00Colapinto there is driving on instinct to squeeze but at that closing speed there is nothing Ollie can do.
Blame the regulations that create sudden massive and never entirely predictable overspeed, cause this depends not only on your own speed but a car suddenly starting harvesting ahead. Such massive overspeed took Bearman by surprise from what i can see, being in the corner. Wise people foresaw these exactly scenarios long before, predicting these things to happen. What precisely did Colapinto do wrong or against the rules?
He did keep position... Antonelli jumped him because of the SC. They did everything right.renault rs26 wrote: ↑29 Mar 2026, 07:54Stupid strategy by McLaren. Oscar said if they keep track position they can win and immidiately they glave position.
