Balance was a significant issue for the SF 23 as well last year. Leclerc described the car as inconsistent both corner to corner but also "intra" corner, with the balance changing to oversteer and understeer "randomly".

Now i don't understand if they spotted these issues in testing or if they are a result of the upgrade package they brought.

Simply the old wing they are using has more downforce and is therefore better suited to Monaco

I don't they didn't use it cause it was a problem. I think this wing is just higher DF. No High Speed sections to take advantage of the other wing's abilities.

They've said it wasn't a problem for a while now. I'm not even sure they ever said it was a problem.

Did he go P3 with no DRS? They have the 3rd fastest car in terms of top speeds according to tweet above, so that can't be right?
