I think the new Pirellis are faster than the 2011 spec.

Did he do a 30 lap stint and first lap was 1.26.7xx and the last one 1.24.3xx?? Vettel is telling us that everyone is behind RBR.

Well the Hards dont really detoriate so there is no reason why lap times cant increase.

Anyways Mclaren looks Damn Slow if it is true that Hamilton is on Mediums & Vettel on Hards considering if both the tyres have reasonably undergone same laps & if they are on similar Fuel Load.

Impossible to say. But Vettel was doing great times on Hard.

And look how fast the times are deteriorating. This years Pirelli's seem to be stronger in the mid range to hards, although Alonso should hhad a faster flier unless he has some fuel in that ride for at least 8 to ten laps

Mercedes is making a habit of missing the afternoon test sessions. Not good...

Though Schumacher's 1.24.1 is promising considering the tire and it was set early on the first day of the test. I am optimistic for Mercedes' speed.

Any thoughts on Williams? They are obviously doing their own thing and covering a lot of ground, but I can't gather any performance indicators other than the observations of the drivers and spectators, which don't sound great...

Alonso wasn't on the super softs when he made his fastest time. He didn't set the fastest time on super softs-pit-go out-pit again-then put the super softs back on. AutoSport didn't say either way & I don't believe hardly anything AMuS says.

Hey,

Long time lurker, first time poster.

Sky's testing feed said Alonso on supersofts. Fuel load aside, seems like the conditions in the afternoon are generally less than optimal for fast times, which may explain it.

Ferrari seem to be experimenting a bit too, so I'll resist the urge to read too much into this.
