It's not just this year. I remember he took a while to recover when active ride was outlawed too.
I don't know. I think Vettel will one day join a big-name manufacturer team. It could just be Ferrari. Who knows?
He won the constructor the year after they banned the electronic suspension.raymondu999 wrote:It's not just this year. I remember he took a while to recover when active ride was outlawed too.
ep.20 (GMM) Eddie Jordan has had a starring role in the 2013 'silly season', recently predicting with confidence that a retiring Michael Schumacher is set to be replaced by Lewis Hamilton. But where did that Mercedes scoop come from?
"Bernie (Ecclestone) told me," German reports on Thursday quote the former F1 team boss and now TV pundit as saying. Along with the Hamilton saga and the uncertain future of Ferrari's Felipe Massa, whether Schumacher stays or goes is regarded as a key to the entire 2013 driver market. So what if there is no room for the seven time world champion at Mercedes?
"I would take him immediately," Peter Sauber, whose Mercedes-backed sports car team provided the springboard for Schumacher's formula one career more than two decades ago, smiled to Germany's Auto Motor und Sport.
that would be a friggn joke (but could be understood because Alonso does not want a strong driver as teammate, ALG is spanish, but as far as I remember Alonso does not like him very much)beelsebob wrote:zomg, Ferrari

Alonso doesn't want a driver stronger than he is. Without a strong driver for a teammate, he wouldn't be able to win championships on his own. Plus, Ferrari would never be able to win a constructors championship. Massa will stay next year, and Alonso will be joined by Vettel in 2014. You heard it here.FrukostScones wrote:that would be a friggn joke (but could be understood because Alonso does not want a strong driver as teammate, ALG is spanish, but as far as I remember Alonso does not like him very much)beelsebob wrote:zomg, Ferrari

even to put him in a Sauber would be ridiculous,
please let it be Caterham or worse
Not if Vettel wins a race next year as his contract states it will automatically renew if he wins a single race. Vettel is seemingly on a low (Compared to Hamilton and Alonso) retainer but has a high bonus factor to the rest, as is Red Bulls status to F1 contracts. Riccardo said this year he was being paid €500,000 for his base pay and €50,000 per point and a major bonus for a podium and a even better sum if he wins a race, id say Vergne will have same contract as well.scuderiafan wrote:Alonso doesn't want a driver stronger than he is. Kobayashi is going to stay were he is. Just as Perez, Schumacher, Hamilton, and Massa.FoxHound wrote:Where does this all leave Kobayashi? He may be slightly adrift of Perez, but he aint that far behind him.
F1 will be a duller place without the Banzai Koba moves, a damn shame if he is not driving in 2013.
From what Jow Saward and James Allen said earlier this year, circa March/April.raymondu999 wrote:Source?ESPImperium wrote:Not if Vettel wins a race next year as his contract states it will automatically renew if he wins a single race.
I really hope so. He lights up the boring GP races, does Koba. Dont want to big him up too much, just appreciate his efforts.skgoa wrote:Kobayashi is going to stay were he is.
