The drivers came on the track one by one being introduced like its fight night at madison Square Gardens with a cheesey video clip of each driver. Proper American TV hype

I liked it. Makes them look like gladiators. A GP is a main event each time. Good to have the drivers "touch gloves" before the battle.
I'm not from europe and feed on mostly american media, so i guess i'm biased.
