"I know the pressure that comes with it and the experiences that go with it.

"He won't admit to it and I'm not going to make an assumption, I'm just saying that I remember what it was like when I had my first one and it definitely mounted up.

"It was difficult, it was intense, I was going through a lot of different emotions, I didn't always handle it the best. That's to be expected, you know, it's a lot of pressure when you are working in a big team, there's a lot of self expectation and the desire to win is huge. I empathize and understand that. I know we will continue to grow from this."

So condescending from Lewis towards Max...and today this...

Hamilton is past his prime and he is not liking it at all. He has the faster car for tomorrow so it could prove catastrophic for his championship aspirations if he does not take 25 or 26 points tomorrow.

Question...does Rus make it easy for Ham off the line or does he start going all Rosberg now?

Different teams, so maximum defense of course. If #63 and #44 collide then so be it. Hamilton has shown clumsy racecraft at many times, as Albon can testify.

I very much doubt he will be anything but extremely friendly. They are both British F1 heroes of the moment, so their relationship will be very respectfull

So why did Red Bull change Max's engine so soon, they should've made the decision after qualifying because he would sitting P4 now after his penalty and Lewis P5. Could be crucial in the end #-o
Now you have the rest of the season covered. Taking the penalty now gives you clear sailing parts wise for the rest of the year. The win is not guaranteed for Hamilton, he has to overtake 3 cars in one corner, if he doesn't the lead cars will pull away from Russell, if he gets by Russell he'll be stuck in a DRS train. Perez is faster than either Norris or Sainz in the race, and Bottas is there with Alonso to keep him company. Norris/Sainz will create a bottleneck.

High probability of a safety car at the start, it's a slippery track. That's the only unpredictable factor.

Verstappen knows what to do at this point.

Nice to see the greatest teams in F1 starting 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Crazy that's a big surprise these days.
I don't think so. Nothing wrong with Tyrrell, Stewart and Toleman joining the group of top teams -- bearing in mind two of these had previous iterations, traditional Renault & Mercedes works teams from their home country before they adopted a British gariste team structure. Why should there only be three and not six? :)

After all, other historic top teams like Lotus and Brabham are gone. :(
Stewart and Toleman have 1 win combined, can't consider them as top teams even in one season.

Q3 track was drying up, Russel took the lead to change for slicks. Than Hamilton crashed his frontwing on pitentry, didn’t have enough left, to warmup his slicks.

Hamilton chokes hard today, but still easy win tomorrow. Obviously mclaren will be the only car posing any serious trouble, but over whole distance I dont think they can hold out.
IF they all get through the first corner without incident ... it could get messy
The Ferrari’s the faster race car in the dry. Worst case scenario for Lewis is that Sainz takes the lead at the start and he’s stuck behind the two Mercedes powered cars. He’ll get past them in the dry but Carlos could build a bit of a gap in the meantime.
I think the Leclerc Ferrari wit the new engine is the one that has the pace. Just guessing here that Sainz's car could be 2 tenths slower in the dry in race pace.

Since Silverstone, Merc is slightly faster but not much results to show it... Spa, Monza, Russia could have been all won by Ham :[

Obviously Stewart = Jaguar = Red Bull and Toleman = Benetton = Renault = Alpine. :)
