Indeed - Non-technical people are often useful to unblock organisational problems so that the technical people have the environment to thrive. Problems arise when technical people think they know how to run an organisation, and non-technical people think they can make technical decisions.
reminds of MGP?
Much more intrguing must be the prospect of having Schumacher as a lever when it comes to negotiating engine deals.Daimler has a vital interest to keep Schumacher in their bigger circle and offering Sauber an engine deal would in fact close a circle there as well.
Of course to the horror of Fry and Brawn ....imagine Not only Mclaren but also Sauber (andnot to forget FI) spitting into their rosegarden ...but this time Daimler is to decide on supply or not ..a very convenient ways to add more Pressure to the kettle...
On the other hand Schuamcher with Ferrari power would be a nice sting suiting Montezemolo -so it all could work out fine
for Peter Sauber and Ms Kaltenborn .
Schumachers desire to go on is limited methinks -so he´d do the 2013 season and use the 2014 after developing the new contender towards raceworthiness as a farewelltour only competing in his beloved races offering scope to promote new talent.....
Still i see the VW Audi Porsche signs on the wall as well - Audi knows a fair bit about Saubers Windtunnel capabilities due to developing their own lemans machinery in their tunnel...coincidence? Sauber may be in for interesting months or years .
zetsche already building bridges to retain Schumacher somehow closely to Daimler ...hints towards Schumacher having support in terms of powertrain by DAI?
