Exactly why I posted the "impregnate your wife at hundred yards" comment.

He apparently is not only a poor sportsman, but will sleep with any journo willing to put out(female).
Can't help feel this is british media hyperbole at work....
Course it is, the British press is utter garbage, always has been, always will be, and im British.

Fernando Alonso is the best thing to happen to Ferrari since Michael Schumacher joined us in 1996.

Ferrari protested because they got ten of thousands of demands from the Tifosi to protest, I was on twitter that day, and they were getting sent you tube videos left right and centre.

I think sometimes you have to be a tifosi to understand how these things work, planet f1 really dont have a clue.

Ahh but don´t you think it would be easier to simply write on their homepage that they don´t feel there is anything to clarify?
Obviously they wanted an official clarification because they felt it needed to be clarified, for all parts involved in the matter.
Ferrari, Red Bull and all the fans.

They asked for clarification and rightfully so, if you can´t handle that then grow thicker skin.

They can NOT take a title if Red Bull and Vettel followed the rules, which they did. Nobody has said anything more regarding the incident except Vettel and RBR who are butt hurt because anyone would "dare" to question them.

Horner is all nice and mellow now but just wait until controversy comes, he will be on FIA like a fly is to poop asking for clarification.

Sorry, why is this even a topic.

Vettel did something dubious.

Ferrari questioned the result.

Who cares?

People are going on like Ferrari made a pass at their mothers.

It's a non issue.

The tifosi demanded clarification.

Ferrari asked for Clarification.

as PAt fry said the move of VET was legal after the race evryone at Ferrari knew that the move was legal. If ALO hype and internet, press pressure is needed to give something to the fans (a protest) as candy because they can't lose then wtf. They asked to clarfiy(knowing there was not much to clarify), see FIA release) because to make it stop and to show ALO and the press the tifosi ultra that they "DO" something. BUt only after they got kind of put under pressure!!! highly negatively framed stuff.
Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

I follow alot of sport, and I have to say, whilst F1 fans are probably the most technical, they are also the most fickle and hormonal fans I have ever seen. I dread to think what would happen if some of you ever watched fight sports, you'd probably lose your minds.

"Vettel called Kartikean a cucumber"

"Alonso waved his hand at Petrov"

Who gives a .........

It's a sport where grown men drive cars at 200mph, sometimes, they do and and say stupid stuff, get over it and move on.

In this case, Ferrari were right to protest, as a tifosi, I demanded they do it and if they hadn't of done it, i'd be calling for heads to roll. Anyone who thinks red bull wouldnt have done it is delusional.

If you break the rules, you get punished, simple as that, thats why the rules are there, I dont care how it 'looks' and i dont care about what happens 'on track', the rules are there for a reason and if Vettel broke them, he should be punished.

FIA says no rules were broken, Ferrari accepted that, end of case, everyone can dry their eyes and think about 2013 now.

It's clear of course that the ultimate goal - if in fact the move was illegal - was to penalise Vettel. Let's not kid ourselves.
Of course. But what does it change? If the move was illegal, Vettel should've been penalized and rightfully so.

That "article" and this thread are ridiculous.

Though I did get a good laugh here with the line about stealin the Christmas presents.

It's funny, Richard_Leeds doesnt seem to have a problem with this driver thread, mainly cos its slagging off Alonso i guess

There is no reason for the thread to be taken down, some people don't like Alonso and want to go on and on and on about 2007 because they cant let it go. They are entitled to their opinions.

And yet, they did...
after what?
After the buzz on the internet and the shitty video that did not show much to begin with.

Again, do you understand the word clarification? Do you truly understand it´s meaning?

Yes Clarification: A word used by Ferrari to establish whether someone on the internet is right.
IMHO its a frikken joke that an organisation as mature and professional as Ferrari would need a fan on the internet to show them a video that clearly shows the car in question is in the right.
Poor sportsmanship.
Alonso, the worst sportsman in the history of F1
together, they try to urinate on the the achievements of the youngest 3 time world champ.
Notice how Alonso only congratulates anyone when a camera is on him.
Ferrari's "request for Clarification" is a thinly worded attempt at trying to insinuate that the WDC was won dirty when the only team to employ dirty tricks all year has been Ferrari and their egotistical midget

You're having a laugh surely. Have a kit kat and a lie down, then come back when your ready to post a sensible constructive debate, the above is fanboy nonsense of the highest calibre.
"Notice how Alonso only congratulates anyone when a camera is on him."
Where do fanboys get this utter nonsense from?

Is this a sport for grown men? Please someone let me know, cos right now this place is looking more like an episode of ''loose women'' rather than a conversation about a simple clarification of a racing incident.

Raptor, not all of Ferrari fans are bitter, I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of Ferrari fans to say Congratulations to Sebastian Vettel for being the youngest ever driver to sit in the fastest car 3 years in a row.

At least he´s had a competitive teammate. Something Vettel never have...

Oh wait..there was one time....and he lost to a guy who now spends his time in a Force India.
