again, I divert you to Wikipedia for all known info on the Stig:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Stig

People can really only speculate on the identity of the new Stig.

Also, Led Zep are good, haven't heard Cream.

Ciao for now, in fact, I shall mess about with an avatar and signature stuff soon, about time I got one ;)

You had to love how Clarkson thought he had won it with his indestructable toboata.
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

The "koneihdakfjhsdcksnweneseggseggsegg CCX" or "Koniegsegg CCX" as we know it, has JUST broken the TG lap record with a 1:17.6, which shatters the previous best by 1:18.4.......8 thenths!!! WOW!

that rear wing did look a bit laim, they could have designed a wing that blended better with the car.

even still it was f**king quick

If they keep going at this rate they will be faster than the Renault F1 (R24?) they drove around the track. It did 0:59.0sec

yeh, t'was an R24, I don't think they'll be breaking that anytime soon, but perhaps they could come closer to the Aston Martin DBR9 they had (1:08 I think).

Yeh, when they first said they were gonna put a wing on it, I suspected they might have it back on TG, but I thought it would be next series. When I first heard about it, I was expecting some massive Noble M12 style wing on the back, when I first saw the car again, it took them pointing it out for me to spot it.

I wonder if the Bugatti Veryron would be any faster? They'd have to put it in 'handling mode' or whatever it's called, where the spoiler's up all the time.

Oh yeh, and Cream are good, yeh.

EDIT:
(making the above more comprehensible)

Insider information, you say?

Can anybody tell me the difference between the Top Gear and the Fifth Gear?

a) The Koenigsegg should have have had a rear spoiler and not a wing, but either way it was a good quick fix, and impressive time

b) I'd love to see how a McLaren F1 and Veyron would do round the track

c) I met the stig last year at Le-Man, and its a random guy I'd never heard of before (and already forgotton; I'll try to dig it up, if people are interested)

Yeah, Fifth Gear is crap.

In some ways I prefer Fifth Gear. They're much better on how they go about reviewing cars. Where on Top Gear it's more entertainment value that counts. Plus the presenters are much better drivers than the presenters on Top Gear.

And they always seem to review the cars much earlier on Fifth Gear, like for instance the Merc S-class, that was reviewed in the last season, whereas on Top Gear, it was reviewed in the last episode.

But then again Top Gear with Jeremy Clarkson is just comedy.

And how did you come to this conclusion?

I can't imagine the Mclaren F1 being the fastest, it is very, very fast in a straight line, but supposedly flawed around a track. For example it was said that the brakes can't hold a candle to the carbon-ceramics on the latest super cars. It also produces less downforce, than say, an Enzo Ferrari (but most likely more than a koenigsegg minus the rear wing  ) The latest super cars also have driver aids, so the driver can extrapolate as much as possible from the car, without flying off the track.
