The problem was setting up the DRS flap on new wing. Previous design had the biggest gap in the middle, new design has it on the end and mechanics didn't know and set it up again in the middle. So the biggest gap, when checked, was over 85mm as allowed per rules.

Honest mistakes with very big consequences, that's F1...
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

That's a big oversight by the TD to not explain a legality issue change to the mechanics though.

Amazing that the mechanics did not question it.

How will Haas F1 be affected by the closing Of Stewart-Haas Racing ? (Nascar)
( both divisions or entities are run at the top by the same two guys)

More amazed by the fact they don't schedule some assembly quick checks with some gauges.

Yes sir!
They have paid the price with starting at the back which resulted with no points.

The team did good as a team and capitalized on others misfortune to score a bag of points at a place where they have run well in the past. Congratulations guys and gals of Haas F1.

With the points total at this point, does anyone miss Guenther?

I got lots of flak for calling for his firing here for years. And look how much better it's going now. 🤷‍♂️

Beautiful race for Hulkenberg! Promising pace in mixed conditions and variety of tyres! Very promising, I hope they can keep it up.

It's almost unbelievable that they put together an upgrade package that worked out of the gate. It was a shame that something happened with Kmag's car in FP1 forcing them to revert to the old spec. I think double points would have been in the cards.

All signs indicate that Toyota may return to the F1 cycle, Formula.hu learned from paddock sources. According to our information, the Japanese are considering an alliance with the Haas team.
First step: branding!
Second step: depend on success they may build chassis in collabration with dallara?
Last step: they may also supply with engine but that all depend on how success they become as time will tell?
