Does this now make Max the most successful Ferrari driver in the F1 paddock? For the year at least.

Would be great of other F1 drivers follow the example and also become active in other series.

Oh my Ferrari has been designing cars all along for Verstappens driving style. I wonder if he is their nr1 driver having access to parts the rest of the field doesnt have. /s. What a performance, GT cars drive totally different than high DF cars. Being able to quickly adjust between tin tops and high DF cars really shows what an amazing feel he has.

That Max does this, for fun, but also quite seriously, to show Sim Racing is real and to put GT racing more on the map with the general public, I think is a real credit to him.

And today his dad Jos and his navigator Renaud won the Belgian Rally Championship! =D>
What a day for the Verstappens.

The sight and excitement of Max driving and winning in a Ferrari must be felt across Italy. I think he will make a very good brand ambassador to auto manufacturers.

What was the skill level in the race? Have these drivers raced on the Nürburgring before with these cars?

The two drivers starting the race ahead of Max were Frank Stippler (multiple time Nurburgring 24h winner, including 2024), and Christian Krognes (official GT3 lap record holder on the exact layout they raced). There were many more professional GT3 drivers in the field, and also amateurs further back. The field was not as deep as a proper 24h race, but Max was comparing times to some strong professional drivers at the front. For reference he pulled over 60 seconds on Stippler in the two stints they drove simultaneously. That was pure pace. Max’s best lap time was 2 seconds off the lap record, and 4,5 seconds faster than the second fastest lap from another driver (Stippler).
