Cadillac MAC-26

With that flat bargeboard, it still looks basic. Well, the coloration is more elaborate.

Interesting that they are still not running the partial wheelcovers. I expect it to be on the final car.

PS: Very strange that they have not officially named the car yet. Though it is almost certainly going to be called the CT26

Cadillac sharing a lot about their processes again.

3:11 - y slices of brake ducts (currently uncensored?). I'm assuming it is an old spec but still a strange thing to do.

Rest of the video covers quite a lot of the design and manufacturing process.

The real thing is quite similar to the leaks of the wind tunnel model wing.

Two vertical turning vanes mounted on the footplate as well.
That is probably the best shot of this car that I have seen, not grainy/low-res at all.
Lots of nice detail visible, this is not the ‘vanilla’ car the most people suggested…

Finally some good shots of the bargeboard. I see some changes on the car, especially on the front wing, so I wonder if it’s a new spec of bargeboard as well, or whether it’s the same on that they ran at Catalunya.

The bargeboard does look a lot more sophisticated than I remember with those elements at the bottom. It’s a super unique approach compared to the rest of the field, which seem to mostly be trying to upwash and outwash, while this one seems to be partially downwashing and partially upwashing. I hope it pays off, although I suspect that a novel solution by a new team is generally not a good sign. (After checking, it appears to always have been like this, it just wasn't as easy to see)

Livery in the team thread, thanks!

And it’s gone. Thanks again.

Bargeboard detail. The top part is very simple inwash shape but the bottom part is very complex for such a small area. Different approach than most teams.

Interesting front suspension link placement/design. Looks like the steering (track rod) link is mounted high and parallel with top front wishbone link.

There's some interesting and reasonably evolved aero surfaces within this overall concept too, maybe simplified in application but with fairly individual concept direction.

Car is named the CA01. No explanation given but my gut thinks it's more than likely an homage to Cadillac Andretti, the name when this all started.

CA could also easily stand for CAdillac just saying
