What a strange reaction to P7 in sprint qualifying, a few tenths off the back of the best 3 teams. You’ve clearly got something against the team though I only ever see you bashing them. I have to wonder if you worked at Viry and got laid off considering the vitriol you spew on a daily basis

I wrote it before quali Let's see, maybe at the end of year I will be wrong.

I'm Renault / Benetton / Enstone supporter since 1993. Maybe that's why I'm so mad at Renault Group and last 2 years.

That’s why the simplest solution is to find serious investor to put money into the team and as Renault move back to minor owner with naming rights (such as Alfa Romeo on Sauber) for marketing purposes.

Getting Mercedes as stakeholder is doing the opposite.

After the debut at the Albert Park circuit, the CEO of Alpine, Steve Nielsen, explained what the car's main drawback was. As detailed, the team detected an aerodynamic problem in the front wing that generates understeer in fast corners.
“High-speed balancing is clearly not optimal, so it needs to be addressed. This is manifested in the form of understeer; therefore, we have understeer at high speed. We saw some of that in Bahrain, so we're aware of it,” Nielsen told the press.
This aerodynamic defect causes the car to tend to crash in fast corners, forcing drivers to slow down more in order to bend properly.

The team is already working on a solution, although the improvements will not be ready for the next Chinese Grand Prix. “We have parts on the way that we hope will fix it, but they won't be in the car in China. It's an injury that we're carrying around right now, even though we think we know how to resolve it,” Nielsen said.
However, the Shanghai circuit could minimize the impact of the problem, as it has fewer high-speed corners than the Melbourne track. Meanwhile, Alpine is working against the clock at its factory to introduce improvements to the Japanese Grand Prix, the third round of the championship.

Super effort by Alpine-Mercedes to bring home 9 points in China!

The Enstone squad outperformed Red Bull Racing too. It is not out of the question that Alpine could displace Red Bull and/or McLaren in the so-called big four this season, showing the fruits of the skilled strategy of Briatore!

Are Enstone fans confident that the squad will outdevelop McLaren and Red Bull, and perhaps even start to close the gap to Ferrari and Mercedes?

Congratulations to the team! The car finally is there where it was suppose to be.

Collapinto is terribly slow! But the real problem is the aggression of Spanish fans. Team social media is being flooded by Spanish comments most of them agresdive and accusing everyone else besides their driver, who they think is getting worse car.
