Well, the Golf R32 is a 4WD. But that doesn't tell the whole story obviously. Sometimes, similar engineering is developped on different platforms, but the tuning isn't necessary the same (torque adjustment, revs peak, sport chipset, etc). For instance BMW and Peugeot are developping engines together, but in the BMWs the blocks are more powerfull than in the less sporty Peugeots. As well as what vyselegend was saying, technology such as the DSG gearbox is shared between each manufacturer, as well as the 2.0 litre supercharged engine found in the VW Golf GTiTom wrote:I've been lucky enough to be a passenger in a TT on the dragstrip, trust me, no VW could accelerate like that.
It's already the 5th time I notice a mistake on their website....Peugeot is convinced that this all-aluminium 100-degree V12 will generate less vibration than its V10 rival from Audi, thus benefiting reliability.
Saying that, the Audi R10 endurance racer won the not only Le Mans in 2006, but also the notoriously tough Sebring 12-hours... with a V10 diesel.
This clip was somewhat funny, but since when did a show named "TOPGEAR," mainly about performance cars turn into "JACKA**," and try to tick off as many people as possible. I do not see the point of what they did and what would compell them to travel across the pond to scurry with some Southners. Honestly, what is this show coming to?joseff wrote:They've really outdone themselves this time!
