The constant complaint is that drivers 'settle' for points rather than going for it as hard as they can - maybe we should be praising Kimi for a bit of fighting spirit even if he was a 'little' over ambitious. Then again maybe this just demonstrates that settling for 2nd, 3rd or 4th when a win 'might' be possible is actually the most sensible route. Playing the percentages doesn't promote good racing but given the alternative may be understandable.

If he had pulled the move off we'd now be praising him as the last of the late breakers... anyone remember Hamilton's move on Kimi last year @ Monza?
