I'm not sure where they publish them - I remember reading about it because back in 2000 (sorry for the confusion there, too many numbers in one go) the top 6 were the points paying positions. It came out because Bennton went public with it - they were the one legal team and they were undertsndably cross that they'd taken the performance hit to keep the wear rate down and could have finished higher if they hadn't bothered like everybody else.Conceptual wrote: I am pretty sure that this race would have similar occurances. I remember that year that the course seemed to be covered in yellow dust from the planks. Someone else asked if it happens much these days and I don't seem to remember a race with that much bottoming out since.
