Davekillens I certainly remember Gary Nixon - predominantly Triumph mounted although he did ride Kwaka's as well later on (one of the ten bikes I had was a Bonneville) he was brilliant. I think what I appreciated of the American riders versus the Europeans/Brit riders was that the championship contained 3 different disciplines flat track, circuit racing and scrambling (now MotoX) - then you had the movie 'On Any Sunday' which laid out what these guys did over a season - in essence real racing.....anyway this isnt a bike forum so somewhat off topic.
