Dave,

Will you be in attendance for the GP next year in Canada assuming it is back on?

I will be going for sure, any other Canadians (or anyone else for that matter) _plan_ on attending?

With so many GP's in Europe you're going all the way to Canada? :wtf:

You can often fly overseas for ~500 Euros if you book way in advance and look for deals.

I say, once we get closer to the time, that we should arrange an F1 tech dinner or something

I was a resident of Montreal back in the 90s, attended the 1993 race. Other than that, I have been there on a regular basis ever since though my different assignments, love the place.

I will take up a new position within the Pulp&Paper industry this fall, which will give me technical jurisdiction over the company's NA servicecenter in Montreal, why I can combine the race with a business-trip.

That way I don't have to fly ape either.

We should certainly discuss a dinner or something as we get closer.

I used to work for Canada's largest logging company (at the time) Canfor. Was a big IT guy.

Then I lost some weight.

As for Montreal next year, I suggest meeting at Thursday's on Rue Crescent, Thursday evening for drinks and a chat.

I've never been tom Montreal before, but I have ben told that some of the nicest looking in shape Canadian ladies are there.

After experiencing some from Onterrible (nothing personal, just never worked out and a lot of them smoke!), and some from Vancouver who have been some of the most beautiful and funky I have met (gf's that is, I'm not huge into one nighters), I am really curious to see how it is there.

I am however firstly going for the race, and hope to see meet some of you folks there. Maybe we should we should ride Tomba's coat tails and let a few team PA's know a technical site delegation is coming out, and wants some special treatment.

Paddock club on the house?

dare to dream.......

I hope montreal will come back in schedule next year. It's a wonderful circuit (melbourne-style) with mix of long straights, corners and chicanes.

About Spa, well...it's the history of F1. It would be crazy to abandon that track.

No regrets for Indy, the Mickey Mouse circuit.

This is exciting. I am definitely making every effort to be there.
Racing should be decided on the track, not the court room.

This subject has been discussed before, but when Montreal seems to be firmly on the calendar for 2010, anyone for an F1-Technical dinner downtown on Saturday night before the race?
