i think theyll probably further modify the floor. they already changed the sidepods and engine cover with the last update. everybody knows that performance starts and ends with the floor in this regulations. unless they need to modify something in the lead up to trying suspension parts for next year. floor and diffuser makes sense to me and possibly a modification of beam wings.
And yet, it's the suspension on the RB19 and MCL39 that is real differentiator.
prolly true, and could be, but i dont see them radically changing the suspension in the last update of these regulations. your guess is as good as mine though. i think the reason why the rb19 and mclaren were so good is because the suspension works great with the rest of the car, not that they have some suspension that no one else has thought of before. newey designed the rb19s suspension from the start. idk if he would shoe-horn a suspension into a chassis thats 2 years old now when theres probably so many other things they could do. we ll see though. hopefully whatever they bring itll be very fast

Michael Schmidt (AMuS) reports that Mike Krack told him that it's going to be very tight if the new parts are ready for Silverstone. Otherwise they will introduce it in Spa (maybe that's the reason why ALO was talking about Spa too).

According to Spanish sources (Marca), a REAR suspension planned for 2026 could debut at Silverstone , with also floor and diffusor changes

There was a post on X about revised side pods and floor fences too. We'll know soon enough.

SPA is a Sprint weekend, not ideal for new packages. Being this is Silverstone, they have till Saturday Morning to get the package out. As long as they can get one out for Friday and the 2nd for FP3, it should work.

Be interested to see new rear suspension. Although I would think that would be more of an isolated upgrade. Than something released with a big package like that.

Hope it’s all three. We need that much of a update to transform the car.

About front suspension geometry ...

Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.

With the huge changes for 2026 just around the corner. Are you seeing the pieces of that puzzle begin to fall into place?

"Yes. Progress has been made, and the concept architecture of the 2026 car is encouraging. We're seeing greater refinement, growth in the organisation and development in our methods of operation. It's going well."

Is our new wind tunnel helping us better understand our updates?

"The fact we now have a wind tunnel available to us seven days a week, 24 hours of each of those days if we so choose, is an advantage. Having our own facility speeds up development and provides more responsive answers to engineers' queries.

"The new wind tunnel is game-changing. It's driving greater efficiency and ultimately, in the bigger scheme of things, that helps us find answers to the how and the why."

We have another update for the British Grand Prix. What is it, and is this the final one for 2025?

"We have a new floor and top bodywork. This builds on the Imola update, but whereas Imola focused more on the shape of the top bodywork, this one focuses more on the floor with a small modification to the top bodywork, aimed at improving the quality of airflow around the rear tyres.

"This is probably it in terms of 2025 updates. We've completed our final scheduled wind tunnel run on the AMR25 – though, as I've just suggested, that could change because of the speed with which we can now organise a test. There are not, however, any more planned tests."

Assuming suspension stuff at spa. But iirc suspension tweaks don’t need to appear on upgrades list document

Only time will tell if Verstappen moves to Mercedes or not. For now, it's mostly media speculation. But if it happens, it could trigger a domino effect and Russell might lose his seat and could possibly move to Red Bull.

If Aston Martin senses that Verstappen might be available, they would likely pursue him. However, it's possible that Verstappen has already declined their interest, leading Aston to consider alternatives like Russell.

Alonso's contract with Aston Martin goes beyond just driving — getting rid of him would require a more than huge payout. + Andy Cowell has stated that both drivers are "on long-term contracts," suggesting no immediate plans to change the driver line-up.

Hope the floor is a decent enough upgrade to give us a good end of the season and at least get decent points each race.
