Pastor Maldonado recorded the fastest time on the penultimate testing day of the current 4-day session at Barcelona. The session was dominated by 4 red flags and was eventually cut short 3 minutes earlier than planned because Felipe Massa came to a halt in the pitlane.

Lotus is usually pretty sorted by the first few races. I expect them to be up there on day one, but fall back a bit as the season progresses. Mercedes I think will be in the mix, a bit like Ferrari was last year. Ferrari...I agree, I think they will qualify well but be a bit behind at the start. Can't put them out of the mix though. I expect them to be in the hunt after midseason. Red Bull and Mclaren look pretty close. It will come down to which circuit they are at between the two. But still lots more testing to go...
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.
Yep, a few cars seem to be getting a lot of rear end movement in various places – I guess that'll be the running theme for this year – managing to get enough rear DF to counter that.
2:12, Vettels car looked unsettled through the S's

Right, im running a World Test Championship based on who sets the fastest time each day, im using the old 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 format for points for refrence, so far the Worls test Championship lies as this;

Force India-Mercedes 33
Scuderia Toro Rosso-Ferrari 31
Mercedes AMG F1 Team 31
Lotus F1-Renault 26
Scuderia Ferrari 25
McLaren-Mercedes 23
Sauber-Ferrari 20
Williams-Renault 4
Caterham F1-Renault 0
Hispania-Cosworth 0
Marussia F1-Cosworth 0

I mean honestly I don't know. But he set his fastest time, came into the pits-went out-came in again- then they said watch out he has now bolted on super softs he might go for a real fast lap. So it seems that he wasn't on them before. But honestly I don't know. Sorry if I came off abrasive, I wasn't trying to be.
According to Marca, Alonso was on supersofts on his fastest lap:

Merc is showing a nice performance in this longrun-stint at the moment...
To sum it up.... fastest time is on hard tires... already faster then Rosberg yesterday...
And now look at those laps:
1:24.236 (9)
1:24.604 (10)
1:27.132 (11)
1:25.058 (12)
1:25.387 (13)
1:26.063 (14)
1:26.726 (15)
1:26.882 (16)
1:27.265 (17)
1:27.603 (18)
1:27.557 (19)
1:27.482 (20)
still on track...
