Verstappen set his fastest time under yellows?!
Even if there’s evidence he did the stewarding in F1 is so poor that they probably wouldn’t do anything about it, despite doing so the previous week.

Although I am sure his second best lap must have been good enough to go through?

I’m hyped for Q3.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

Very exciting for Russell to end up putting that car in 12th.

The future is very bright for that young man.

Ferrari fighting over 10/11 again.
It was odd how at the start of Q1 they looked fast relative to others but then never seemed to improve, even when putting on new tyres in both sessions. It’s like they went for it right away and then there was nothing more to find (I.e. that’s all the car was capable of).

Well yeah but Hamilton’s time wasn't deleted, he was demoted 3 places in the grid. Surely the same should happen now, no?

Burnt out the tires and then changed them too late

Timing is just as important as driving skills in these variable conditions.

True but what do we now know when somebody ignores yellow flags.....Thanks to RedBull?

Great drive by him in that car and doing himself plenty of favours in terms of other teams noticing him.

Everything about him screams ‘To good for Williams’.

Very good point. However I still wouldn’t be surprised - if it did happen - that nothing is done about it thanks to the numbskulls running the show. Even if Merc run crying to them like RBR did last week.

I don’t know who are more incompetent. The F1 lot or the VAR lot in the premier league.

This could be really bad news for Bottas here. Doesn’t look capable of getting close to Hamilton or Verstappen.

Edit- absolutely spoke too soon.
