A Verstappen Antonelli duo is absolutely not what the grid needs in the future. Everyone is cooked.
Based on this, Max & Toto had a meeting in February.
Such a thing has not even been mentioned anywhere but this "Formula City". You can be sure it's very, very likely without substance.Paa wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025, 03:30Based on this, Max & Toto had a meeting in February.

Even if true, it is far from confirmation, but gives some context.
Some people make a hobby of following the track of planes owned by celebrities so it is very easily trackable and can be confirmed.Matt2725 wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025, 14:28Such a thing has not even been mentioned anywhere but this "Formula City". The story is not true. While both planes were in Eindhoven on the same day, Toto was there to visit Signify's headquarters, one of Merc's sponsors, not to meet up with Max. In fact, Max wasn’t even on the plane. If they wanted to meet, they could have done so privately in Monaco, like they did last year, without anyone knowing, no need to fly to Eindhoven for that. Yet so many clueless people keep pushing nonsense.Paa wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025, 15:34Some people make a hobby of following the track of planes owned by celebrities so it is very easily trackable and can be confirmed.Matt2725 wrote: ↑20 Mar 2025, 14:28Such a thing has not even been mentioned anywhere but this "Formula City". But I agree, this was not widely reported or discussed. I only know about this from the Autosport forum, but they refer to Ziggo (Dutch TV). https://forums.autosport.com/topic/2275 ... ry10850663
True, but I think Russell's radio msg saying they couldn't work front or rear axle's properly is a bit worrying.
And Mercedes wasn't in the picture at all at the end of qualifying as, though the car seems more user-friendly, it's simply lacking a bit of pace on low fuel and soft tyres. Doing a preparation lap on the mediums seemed effective in SQ2 but that was sacrificed for the shorter SQ3 on softs, and Mercedes also regretted not running slightly later in the session as well.
https://www.the-race.com/formula-1/chin ... d-already/..As for Mercedes, the car continues to look responsive and turns in well. The trouble is, it never really looked searingly fast.
Tyre deg looks to be better than FP1 since they were struggling to get the tyres up to temperature in Sprint Quali.OverheatedTurbo wrote: ↑21 Mar 2025, 15:17Worried about the tyre deg. Even tho we’re running a hefty beam wing.
