I thought that came only after the RBR incident and the pit was also telling lewis that Button was given the same instruction to save fuel.

If it was indeed before, then lewis obviously didnt follow the team instruction.

The only reason Button was anywhere close to Hamiltonis 1 because McLaren effed up Hamiltons pit stop and 2 Button was ignoring the save fuel instructions

Could it be Hamilton did an Alonso and was just cruising?

The damning image for me is this one: Image

There's plenty of room for Vettel on his left hand side, he's pushing Webber right. Webber gave him room, Vettel decided to try and take some more and got it wrong.

That's called Diplomacy and I wouldn't expect anything else from a Team Principal.

Good pic, Clearly shows Vettel came across on Mark.

On a different note, there was some seriously top notch coverage pre and post race by the BBC.
I just got the Radio transmission saying that both cars(McLaren) had fuel issues so I rescind my earlier post. #-o

And my driver of the day? Schumacher of course, then Kobayashi.

Troll #1:

"Webber is %100 at fault !"

Troll #2:

"Vettel is %100 at fault !"

(though I should point out that Vettel was surely more at fault)

Troll #3:

"McLaren told Button to back off bohooooo I want my mummyyyyy !!!"

Yes. That's because Hamilton is the better driver and he'll always be looked after and protected.

Idiot.

What put them in that position was Webber being slow, and it was brewing for a couple of laps. He was so slow I actually thought he was letting Vettel past.

How Mark decided to defend that dictated what happened because Vettel had to get into position to brake for the corner. Mark decided to stay where he was when the position had already gone. Had he raced smarter and got into position for the corner in a wider line he probably would have retaken the place without any drama.

Look at Jenson and Lewis as to how it should be done.
I posted a comment on that previously. I used the word Masterclass :)

Regardless, Vettel wasn't so fast that he had a hope of getting past Webber on the outside. If he was inside, then sure. Outside would have meant Mark conceding position, and Vettel should know he wouldn't.

It was too optimistic a move IMO

Team orders for Mclaren is foolisness, button would have been further in the standings, so it would have been better to give him the win.
Button was being sneaky. He would not have run away from Lewis, and i think he knew, but he tried anyway. He would more than likely been overtaken in turn 12.
Hamilton could hang with the redbulls in dirt air, Button could not in clean air, so i did not see Button driving off into the sunset after the pass on hamilton. It would have been a hell in a cell match between the 2, and i don't think button would win a fight like that over so many laps.

Concerning Vettel, he is showing his true colours. He is egotistical spoilt brat.

Webber gave him as much room as he needed. Because of Vettel's poor passing skills he does not know how to push a car wide.
The mistake he made was that he started pushing webber wide before they were in the braking zone. #2 Vettel did not use his mirrors to adjust how he pushes mark.
#3 Vettel started pushing unnecessarily because it was simply to early to see how mark was aproaching the turn.
#4 he lossed a little stability becuase he moved over the crest of the hill, down force is less going over a crest.

All in all Horner is to blame. He flatters Vettel too much and makes him feel as if Webber is a push over, and Vettel is the heir to the redbull throne.

Serves Vettel right, webber has a 15 point gap to him, so smooth sailing for webber from now on!

I think fundamentally.... its a good job Lewis got past Jenson when he did.... there's no way Lewis would have settled for that - and would very likely ended the same way as Red Bull. Jeez he was miffed enough even when he did win!

I don't know why I thought Vettel was passing on the outside. I wanted correct myself before someone else did.
