Williams FW36 Mercedes

Anyone got access to lap time data especially for long runs yesterday? I'm a bit disappointed in FP2 as they seemed off the pace more than expected. However I know it's FP2 not qualifying or race.

they need NASA as sponsor.

Select Bottas as one of the drivers and compare to who you want.

Mercedes is faster, Williams and Redbull follow imo.
FP2 fastest lap was just ok, but i think Williams held back given that Bottas did a 32.4 on 27 lap old medium tires in FP1, and on 7 lap run no less without backing off on the previous one.

Someone on Williams Facebook page asked why Bottas was only running 12000rpm during fp2. Are teams restricting rpm to make the 100kg fuel restriction for the race?

Fuel flow limit makes anything over 12k pointless, except maybe in top gear.

No we don't. It's obvious. And just to be clear, Renault and Mercedes have repeatedly stated that they would have a wastegate for safety. The ERS-H would make a wastegate unneeded, but in case of a failure of that system, a wastegate is absolutely necessary to prevent the turbo from failing is well, which would then also lead to an entire power unit failure.

On the grid, Massa said to Barrichello that the car is quite low drag that's why it sucked in the rain.

A good shot of the rear (screw you Koba  )

On the onboard shots from the nose pointing at the front suspensions, i noticed that the pushrod on the williams was expanding on the upright side in rebound (so the inner wheel in a curve). Anyone else noticed that? Haven't seen that before, anyone knows something about it and it's purpose?

I also searched for videos and saw that one. It's hardly visible, there were shots on tv where it was much obvious. But you can spot it if you know where to look. On the pushrod below the composite there is a silver area and below that a kind of gold part (insert or some mechanical part). That's the one which was extending.

Did Pat Symonds brought the FRIC from last year's Marussia to this years Williams?
It seems like it. Upon corner turn in, the inside suspension vibrates vigorously similar to last year's Marussia.
