That's just not good enough from Danny, my god the gap is huge. So much for the F.E.A on the helmet...

7 tenths between Lando and Daniel… That’s a lot

It is! I think it says a lot about Lando's ability as much as Daniel's struggles. Lando is the real deal, no question about it.

There really is no explanation for this. Ricciardo may as well stay home tomorrow, even getting a point will be a huge challenge.

7 tenths between teammates in a 1.12 circuit. I hope the next year we will have a two strong drivers
Gasly will be a good choice.

Im sorry but I have absolutely had it with Ricciardo , WTF is he doing.

Lando P4 , Daniel P14 with lando still not at 100% , as with last year he is going to be the downfall of the Team , we could be hot on Mercedes toes if he wasn’t such a lackluster moron. At this point you could put you could truly put an Ape in the car and be more competitive.
What an absolute joke of a driver.
At this point only a mid-season driver swap can save the Team from being 5th or lower , but McLaren won’t do that…

He was definitely not disappointing at Red Bull.

It might rain tomorrow so who knows, but still. These sort of performances are atrocious. 7 tenths on such a short track?

That's about 1.1% difference. That's the freaking average gap McLaren had to Mercedes in 2020 ...

Dissapointment again for Daniel Ricciardo. He is no longer the driver of Red Bull and Renault that I remember and I don't think there should be any more excuses. When you have a driver like Sebastian Vettel that got into Q3 to a car that should not be on Q3 in Monaco and then you have Fernando Alonso who was away from F1 for 2 years and he comes back and immediately delivers then there are no excuses.

Then maybe we need to box him up and drop him of there , as long as he’s as far away from a McLaren car , I couldn’t care less , but I doubt the want him at this point either

How can vettel be dragging a green shitbox into Q3 and Daniel can even manage to get what is clearly the 3rd fastest car into the top 10

Until McLaren gets the balls to kick him out, we’ll keep seeing this over and over and over again.

I guess where in for the Monaco tradition of lando lapping Daniel

Gasly and Vettel would be perfect drivers for Mclaren. I would even want a return of Alonso or Hamilton in the team.

When did Ricciardo a good race with us in wet conditions? Never. Daniel's time in McLaren is over.

On point… In within the whole drama of Daniel under performing, the fact that Lando is a generational talent is been hidden… He has showed so many times now how fast he is that us about time we start acknowledging it.

I really don't want to sound negative and I really want to believe that maybe somewhere there is a different Ricciardo but the team is trying to get on top and not scrape with the bottom feeders. We can't have slow drivers.

Wonder what Daniels excuse will be this time, it’s never his driving of course…
