Vandoorne is mediocre compared to the other drivers. Alonso is a good reference for car performance.

The soft is faster for sure

I would go for more laps in his place. It seems that they have problems warming them up from the first lap.

Especially since he's going to be on SS's now for the race, he screwed up the last sector on the softs.

How much faster was he?

Was slower than his Medium try and SS try. I don't know what is going on and the Medium worked so well and the other tyres aren't working.

On normal conditions he should be between the first 5 considering the huge difference between the Medium and Supersoft. I have no idea what is going on with the tyre.
