It is FP1, they have two different parts on cars and are trying to spot the + and - of the package. We should wait for FP2/3 as always.

If Sainz is not running the updated package, then his car has the same characteristics as that of the old spec - which means it's faster on straights and not so in slow corners, therefore the slow sector 2 & 3 times. I don't think his sector times are representative as of now. Let's wait for P2 and P3 sessions.

Carlos said he wasn't happy with his lap, a bit scrappy..
Q: (Stefano Mancini – La Stampa) Kimi, will you help Vettel to win his championship this year?
Kimi Raikkonen: I can only drive one car, obviously.

Haas was always going to jump forward this weekend at this track, so it's not unexpected for me. Still got plenty of running before qually though, will take time to adjust the car to the new parts.

Speed trap: (km/h)

1. LEC 327.5
2. VET 325.7
3: NOR 325.3

Looks like the new package has reduced drag so that they can use a higher DF rear wing with little to none trade-off.

Is Sainz running the updated package in FP2? If he is not and Norris is then that's a little worrying since Norris is slower than Sainz at the moment. Hopefully the update delivered what the team was expecting.

Both cars are running the updates. The updated aero package delivered as expected of it.

They were comparing the old with the new package in FP1 and i saw Sainz with the new shark part in FP2 with the hard tyre we have to wait for tomorow to know the direction the team have followed
