Could be with less fuel. ALO concentrates more on the Ferraris in his private duell. More than unnecessary...

We look faster than Alpine, Haas, Williams, VCARB, Sauber so far at least. Alot better start than the last couple of weekends. But we will see.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see the engine turned up for British GP and some marketing purposes but hope it’s more genuine than that as it would make great viewing.

Christian Horner on Sky saying "I hope so" when Brundle asked if he thinks the Astons were running lower fuel.

If anyone has the onboard to see if the wing flexes, that would be helpful. However lately they weren't fast even on empty fuel, so at least it's positive today

Since Bahrein, Aston brought a total 23 upgrades (even if De la rosa does not consider most of them as upgrades) more than any other team, the second one is Haas with 16.

They are working 24/24 so something must come out sooner or later. This why we keep faith.

I don't think Alonso had low fuel, maybe Stroll, but who knows...

Let's wait, obviously they are no that high but as long as they can qualify in the top 10, it's a step up.

They are a bit far from last pole time and this year gonna be even faster. Around 2 sec they have to find till qualification otherwise no q3.

By the time TD018 was enforced, Aston Martin was already in a struggle for a couple of races. I think the effect of the flexing-wings is overstated on the Aston Martin. It's far from being their biggest problem. You don't go from fighting for podiums to barely making it out of Q1 just because of that.
TD018 came in at Singapore properly but AMR had already been told to remove their Flexi wing at Barcelona earlier in the year. That's precisely when everything went wrong in terms of performance and car balance
Aston Martin was still really fast in Canada, just one race later. The timeline since 2023 just suggest poor understanding on their part. The flexi-wings are being used as an excuse by people here.

Nothing from the team even suggest any technical directives as being the main reason behind their big slump.

Montreal doesn't have the corners for it to make as difference. I don't disagree with you. I just implying it hasn't helped.
