The Spec 3 has sounded decidedly different from earlier specs in all cars outside and in and from onboard Albon's car this week at the start of FP2 it sounds particularly great. Lovely, satisfying sound!

Albon has crazy pace around RB ring. Jesus, him, Perez, and the 2 McLarens will have a very interesting fight from what I can see so far.

Too bad he will be stuck behind the train which is why i was hoping they dont take the new engines. He will be lucky to get points but then if thr cfashes are anything to go by then who knows maybe a podium.

Max wasn't running Spec 3 during FP1 and FP2, so it's likely none of the cars were running Spec3. Maybe only Albon was running it in order to try and see if they can take the penalty before others, but I think I heard during the broadcast McLaren beat them to it.

I knew that much, I was more implying in general the Spec 3 sounds different, watching qualifying onboards from France etc. In Austria, true it probably is Spec 2 on all but Alex's car and that just emphasised the note change, it was his car that had that particular note.

If Albon can qualify in top 8 and finish in top 6 in one of two races before summer, he will get Gasly's seat. Ditto Kvyat. Expecting him to do well in the upcoming races.

I think that their position in relation to their team mate will play a bigger part than their overall position, provided they both have a 'standard' race

And seems that the car is performing finally, hope tomorrow he can beat the Renaults and be best of the rest. It would be great!
