Stroll used an extra set of softs using Q2. Alonso only did one run. But I get your point
At least the upgrades reach more downforce in general its important, and, they have straight speed too. I dont believe they will show thing like this again, but they improve it that car, finally. What really happen in Belgium guys, because...PinkFloydPulse wrote: ↑02 Aug 2025, 17:10If Lance is there, that means the car is good. But sadly I believe this is track specific and not completely down to the updates… If they end up being good in other races then we can say the updates helped…
In all fairness, the Silverstone floor is likely to be flawed, but the new front wing seems to be working very well.Rikrikrik wrote: ↑02 Aug 2025, 17:14At least the upgrades reach more downforce in general its important, and, they have straight speed too. Yeah, but Stroll made two tries in Q2. Alo made his lap much earlier, and just over try.
On Strolls 2nd run in Q2 the wind had started to change, it was then from the SW .09KPH (so calmer too).
Alonso did one lap at the beginning of Q2 which was good enough to not need to go out again. Stroll did 2. Thats why he ended up ahead in q2. But I think it was actually an advantage to do another run at the end of q2 because you get a better read of track conditions for your q3 lap
