This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
Interesting to see they are persevering with the tri-vented nose. Some nice touches as well like the barge boards and the front suspension being swept right forward
Livery wise I think the colour scheme really works, something a bit different to the bland 2018 one.
Fascinating... Everyone saying it looks incredible this will bring them back. I don't see anything on these renders that would suggest
going that far? There's a boomerang moustache element around the bargeboard area, the only vaguely RB14 element on there (someone said the whole car looks like an RB14..lol), the nose is very much the same as last year's car and the whole "coke bottle" is nothing to report on? They've gone high mount sidepods, as expected and as have 90% of the field. The sponsor "shopping list" down the side of the car is suppppper tacky.
Driver uniforms don't even remotely speak McLaren or its history to me and actually look like pyjamas, you put this teams last 4 years together and you'd have zero idea they were the same team. Mix that with Zac saying "it's a journey" about 12 times in the small speech and it's "a road to recovery", I get super confused/concerned vibes from them.
Not quite the reveal I was hoping for.

On the sponsor side, the new sponsors are relative small and no Coca Cola or Kimoa. BAT is more a replacement for Chardon then a title sponsor.
That Kimoa is off the car seems to suggest that there is no contract anymore between Alonso and McLaren.
Good to see a few new names on there, but still a long way to go...
Car have way to much blank space!! Although listed on the partners page still, Coke was not on the video screen print someone else posted above. Maybe Zak couldn’t get that one over the line...
