This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
This was far than a perfect lap he did a correction in turn 1 and 3 and miss a bit the corner in turn 10 due to understeer and i think he has a lot fuel
The car looks like that on low fuel all weekend so far. But looks better heavy.
Yes its better on heavy fuel but they must erase the understeer like redbull did to go faster in quali otherwise it will be difficult to compete for the p6 saturday
I think Mclaren has something in the bag still. I would expect Alpine around 7-10 in Quali, and than a solid race pace. Looking back at winter testing this is not half bad.

Doesn't Matter where McLaren Quali, their biggest worry is getting to the end of the race on those brakes

I still think a p7 will be possible for fernando but a couple of cars are fast maybe between him and Norris the Hass is impressive or they run always witn low fuel and high engine mode !
No magnussen was far in the straith and fernando made a couple of mistakes in turn 1 turn 3 turn 7 and turn 10 with bit of understeer i thin' the alpine is difficult to drive
Well all cars are difficult to drive except Red Bull or Ferrari at this point but anyway Alonso still had a chunk of ERS left on his flyer.
He also seem to come off the throttle early in the last corner when he saw the car ahead of him.
Yeah Mag definitely disturbed him there no doubt about it.
Though i am happy with showing so far, not very convinced and optimistic for today. Mclaren, mercedes can come alive today and suddenly we might see Alpine at back. Just too worried and anxious.
If somehow that car is in Top 5, i am pretty sure with Alonso they will win few races. That guy has gps in his brain and no one comes close to him in race craft.
