Oscar was underwhelming. Fine, just a bit meh.Slahinki wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025, 21:52How exactly did Oscar show his Champion qualities in a race where he couldn't pass the slower Antonelli, and was slower than his own team mate?Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025, 21:48So a recap of the race. Good job from Russell and amazing job from Antonelli. Max did his best and a worthy 2nd. Oscar proves again why he is made of championship material and the next big thing with a good 4th place on a car that was slower from Red Bull and Mercedes. Norris will be a good support driver from now on as he doesnt have it to be champion.
While Norris had fastest car for the consecutive year & Leclerc had the car for 7-8 races of the 2022 season.
Again, I'd say not trying a move, and settling, shows less champion material.Holm86 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025, 21:54Guess he is talking about the way he drove against Norris, even when Norris got in front, he still managed to out brake him and stay in front, and right after Norris showed why he ain't made of champion materialSlahinki wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025, 21:52How exactly did Oscar show his Champion qualities in a race where he couldn't pass the slower Antonelli, and was slower than his own team mate?Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025, 21:48So a recap of the race. Agreed. And kudos to McLaren for letting them race. I hope that won't change because of this. Still a long way to go, I'd put my money on Piastri but as the faster driver Norris has every chance of winning, if manages to get his qualifications right.PierreW wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025, 21:55Both McLaren were faster than RB and Antonelli on race pace. They just did not have the pace to overtake.Darth-Piekus wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025, 21:48So a recap of the race. Good job from Russell and amazing job from Antonelli. Max did his best and a worthy 2nd. Bad qualification and Piastri losing the position at the start made the finish. Norris was also faster than Piastri.
I agree but this things tend to happen from time to time.
As soon as Oscar gets into position that Lando can't beat him, then they will. Until then its game on. As it should be.
He crashed himself out of the race when he would have made the move stick and got the place soon enough, yet you're finding a way to applaud it.Ben1980 wrote: ↑15 Jun 2025, 22:01Again, I'd say not trying a move, and settling, shows less champion material.
