Leclerc and Norris are way too talented to make mistakes like this.

So a recap of the race. Good job from Russell and amazing job from Antonelli. Max did his best and a worthy 2nd. Oscar proves again why he is made of championship material and the next big thing with a good 4th place on a car that was slower from Red Bull and Mercedes. Norris will be a good support driver from now on as he doesnt have it to be champion.
How exactly did Oscar show his Champion qualities in a race where he couldn't pass the slower Antonelli, and was slower than his own team mate?
Oscar was underwhelming. Fine, just a bit meh.

While Norris had fastest car for the consecutive year & Leclerc had the car for 7-8 races of the 2022 season.

Guess he is talking about the way he drove against Norris, even when Norris got in front, he still managed to out brake him and stay in front, and right after Norris showed why he ain't made of champion material
Again, I'd say not trying a move, and settling, shows less champion material.

I believe Piastri deserves WDC title this season. How calm & composed he is under pressure.

Sooner or later, McLaren team will root for Piastri & ask Norris to play 2nd role if it’s tight fight between Piastri & Max.

Both McLaren were faster than RB and Antonelli on race pace. They just did not have the pace to overtake.

Bad qualification and Piastri losing the position at the start made the finish. Norris was also faster than Piastri.
Agreed. And kudos to McLaren for letting them race. I hope that won't change because of this. Still a long way to go, I'd put my money on Piastri but as the faster driver Norris has every chance of winning, if manages to get his qualifications right.

As soon as Oscar gets into position that Lando can't beat him, then they will. Until then its game on. As it should be.

Silly mistake from Lando there. Ruined his own race and has to take 100% responsibility.

Oscar will be getting a penalty or 3 for overtaking on the in lap too.

Anyway it was a weak race of ours.
Still were only a few seconds behind after a long race. We didn't have the pace to win but it was not terrible.
True, but i got used to the podiums :D

While it is true that Mclaren had a better race pace at the end from Mercedes and Red Bull it was simply not enough to pass. There is one thing to come close and another to pass. People are mistaken to think that Piastri isnt championship material and people forget that Antonelli is also a bloody top driver in the making. People also forget that Piastri had chances to pass Antonelli but at the end of the day its whoever takes most points wins the title. Cause when Oscar was gathering points the others were crashing left and right or in the case of Max into other drivers. The faster you accept Oscar as the next big thing the better the transition will be. He has this year in the bag so far.

He crashed himself out of the race when he would have made the move stick and got the place soon enough, yet you're finding a way to applaud it.

It was a dip in form from Oscar this weekend but he comes away with nearly a race win between him and Lando in the standings despite it.
