Unless it rains, no hope in this race.
yep. A very telling sign of their problems came on lap one — I think it was turn 3 or 4 — when Alonso had the outside line and Hamilton had the inside. Coming out of the corner side by side, Hamilton simply out-accelerated Alonso. That should never happen from the outside, Alonso should have been on the throttle sooner. Low speed traction, without the aid of a big rear wing is still a problem.

"Unfortunately my time at Racing Bulls has come to a premature end.
"However, this does mean for the first time in 10 years I get to watch the remainder of the season as a regular punter, let's see how the midfield battle plays out! (And we will see how much I can figure out without all the tools!)," Roberts announced.
He explained that after a period of gardening leave, he will return next year to the F1 paddock. Roberts also put a green heart emoji in that sentence.
"I will be back trackside next year 💚, but first I need to fit in some gardening.
"Thanks to all my friends, and good luck!" he concluded.

It doesn't turn.

Well "returning" would suggest that he once left AM F1, which does appear to be true. The green Color suggest AM F1.

Baku was a disaster, next one is Singapore, what the prediction
Also, we are nearly the end of the year, next year is a clean slate, any chances of updates for coming races.

The straight line speed is good down the start finish straight, they're just not generating enough DF from the Floor. So it could be that it's too bumpy to get too close to the asphalt.... It's more likely the floor doesn't generate enough DF at a higher height and the plank/floor/suspension that doesn't allow it to get close enough to the asphalt in bumpier conditions.
Aston should have been designing their own suspension like McLaren years ago, not going into 2026, but you live and you learn
The team as Aston Martin is just 4 years old and the old facility looked like a garden shed compared to the new one. How were they supposed to be designing their own suspension years ago when they were using the pink Mercedes in 2020?

Will just have to trust the experience of the people in place now. It would be a surprise if they aren't winning some races in 2026.

His quote appears, at least to me, that he will return to "trackside" operation after his enforced gardening .... not necessarily to a team.

Ferrari has had great traction for this whole regulation set. It was something they worked on specifically with a new ERS technician.

They had their last scheduled update. They had said previously that they might try next years parts on this years car for durability testing, though those parts likely wouldn't help performance.

I think it can be bumpy, if it is, it can be a problem for AM F1. It's a High downforce track with 19 turns and 12 of them are of speeds below 150KPH. By comparison Hungry had 14 turns with 8 of them being 150KPH or lower. Unlike Hungry it doesn't have any highspeed turns, so it's more like Monaco than Hungry. Either way Alonso qualified well at both though he DNF'd in Monaco but I think they have a better floor and diffuser now for a Monaco type circuit than they did back in may. At any rate the car suites this track far better than the last couple of races. With a little luck we can finish 7ish.

According to Alonso:

- Singapore, Las Vegas and Mexico: Car will be like baku, the slowest (with the Alpine), nothing to expect
- On the 4 other races, they will see and try to grab some points.

They also have some difficulties to predict, at Monza they were much faster than they anticipated.

Qatar is the only race where you can expect Hungary like performance The rest will all be between 7-8th to 16-17 range.
