Alonso:
"Since the first lap in FP1, I felt quite comfortable with the car and I was able to find the limits quite quickly.

"The Red Flags didn't help to show the full picture on the timesheets, and the real test is tomorrow in Qualifying.

"Let's see what we can do and hopefully fight for points on Sunday."
Stroll:
"We managed to get some good laps in today.

"We learned a lot and changed the car set-up in between practice sessions. The track conditions were very different in FP2 compared to FP1 with the temperatures dropping and the sun coming down.

"I had a good feeling in the car today and we looked a bit more competitive than recently. With the higher downforce this track should hopefully suit our car better so let's see what we can do tomorrow."

Yeah, Sky F1 has Cowell with interviews from the pit wall this weekend, and during FP1 he said that is was less bumpy here so they were able to run the car lower without risking wearing out the plank, unlike some of the previous races.

Pace in sector 2 isn't great but like in Hungary sector 3 pace is insane. Very likely a Hungary scenario so race oace isn't going to be great guess but lets see.

I thought Singapore would be a good layout for us. Now do I believe that when they turn up the wick we'll get more wheel spin that the others? Yeah, I do. I think we're still looking at at 5-8 situation.

Alonsos engineer is truly awful. He’s keeps giving Alonsos wrong or bad information regarding his steering wheel?

Don’t tell me they’ve adjusted the ride height again. The drop off in performance makes no sense

Shouldn’t they already know this from FP1. I was surprised to hear Cowell talking about the ride heigh in FP3. If Aston have adjusted it again then this team is a disaster

I was mentioned it earlier but I watched FP2 onboards and the car was bottoming out. But he said there won’t be a need to change it. But then where does the performance loss come from

FP3 is in the day time so not really that representative, but its crazy how they seem to always perform better on Fridays... Are they really good at setting up the car on Fridays, or really bad at improving it from the initial setup? Or running too conservative ride heights on Saturdays? Hopefully qualifying is more like FP2 than FP3...
