Maybe his first points in F1 is to be a win! :D
He already scored points in F1
Ah yes! Forgot Sakhir!
You can argue even in that race he was cursed- denied the win by a double helping of terrible luck!

The coverage was great, show where the action is in the midfield not one driver lapping comfortably on his own at the front followed by someone 10 seconds behind. Great race for Sainz and Ricciardo.

Agree! They’ve been getting wayyyyy better at that, but I’ve noticed this year in particular they’re hitting their stride. Makes watching a race so much more entertaining

What a race!!

Max has built enough of a gap now, to be able to have a retirement and still lead the championship.

Ridiculous coverage not paying any attention to the 10 sec gap between Perez and Sainz.
It’s also ludicrous that Perez gets to finish ahead of Leclerc. The rule is that you keep a car’s width when a car is alongside and he broke that rule twice in order to stop someone passing him. So, regardless of what anyone thinks about whether that should be the rule or not, it is the rule and our takeaway here is you’re better off breaking it.

Max is simply the best. Outstanding drive. He makes that car seem better than it is.

Tbf, quite a good race, potentially spoiled by penalties. But Mercedes need some big luck and even bigger upgrade to stop this momentum from Red Bull and Max

Excessive penalties at Turn 4 a legacy of the excessive penalty for HAM against ALB.

Verstappen now 32 points ahead after 9 races. But realistically, this Driver's championship is not that close - there's just too much evidence their car is better. It'd almost be choke territory if Verstappen loses the WDC given the circumstances.

Just one DNF and it can all turn around. Let’s see Silverstone before judging what May or may not happen

It seems some of Max fans, are now learning what Hamilton fans have felt for a long time.
C'mon, you can do better ..
I'm sure I can do orders of magnitude better but the form rules prohibit it.
