That's why I watch Alonso's onboards.

Alonso has clear air now, lift and coast to his delight. Bearman will start to have a tire edge now cause hard wear slower than mediums but he's 10 seconds back now.

Rims sticking on a pitstop is a hardware problem. It's a design issue they've got to resolve for next year.

Even with Bearman now in clear air Alonso keeps pulling away .5 per lap. They've just asked Alonso to lift and coast more...Basically, just bring it home ... Even if they didn't have the 10second pit stop...no way they would have caught Hamilton.

I think the car is really fast here compared to "the Best of the rest". Maybe they changed the setup in FP3 to make the car better in long runs. It's clearly flying and they've been able to use the softer grade of tires, which adds to thier speed.


Alonso not angry any more. He's having fun now.
