Mercedes, Red Bull and Mclaren were doing two warmup laps on every run except for the last run of Q3 (because of the threat of rain). It wasn't a Ferrari specific issue. The others were compromised on the last run of Q3 due to lack of warmup.
When asked about the rain during the final phase of qualifying, he added, “We were sliding too much, and the tires were probably just a bit too cold. There wasn’t much more to it,” before Viaplay presenter Chiel van Koldenhoven pointed out that he simply didn’t look well.
