If Ferrari wanted a bumper car driver they would look at Kamui, a part from that I only see Kamui as a marketing tool for the F1 in Japan.
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

regarding the crash. There is one bit of info missing that is the in-car view from both drivers. I suspect Massa understeered into Senna. Maybe his tyres were already gone or just lack of skill to steer the car.
Overall, it is most unfortunate for Senna.
Massa's performance in Australia was poor but we have to remember it was just 1 race.
Ok so he has been below par for quite some time now, but not to the point where his seat being taken has needed serious consideration.
Remember too that Fernando struggled drastically with the car in Melbourne too and he is arguablly one of if not the best drivers on the grid. People are pointing to the fact that he finished 5th, it wasnt exactly an easy 5th, Maldonado was faster than him, Rosberg too, had the Merc not had degrading issues, and a few incidents / drop outs helped him up the order too.
If Massa fails to perform at Sepang, then the pressure will really be on him, but i cant see Ferrari dropping him this early in the season.
You would think they would go with an experienced driver, Kubica aside, Sutil is the most likely choice, although accident prone he would be a better option than Trulli, who isnt such a long shot himself, given Todt apprently offered him a deal in the late 90s.
"If you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna.
Massa's poor form — his fastest lap was over a second off that of his teammate — has led to speculation
Under pressure
"We need to stay close to Felipe because it's clear that he's under pressure," Domenicali said. "I've asked his engineers to analyse the data on the car, also, to reassure him."

Which F1 drivers have done well in Nascar, lately?. Montoya was much more competitive in F1 than he is in Nascar. Who's done well in Indycar from F1 lately. Sato?

That reply was the response of an arsehole Internet warrior. If general chit chat is something that doesn't happen on here then fair enough but was no need for that.

The lack luster race in Malaysia could be the final episode for Massa. The only one who still believed in him was Luca di Montezemolo. The Italian media is very harsh with the Brazilian. I recall in 1985 that Ferrari axed Rene Arnoux after two races and replaced him with Stefan Johansson. In my opinion Massa is done and will be replaced by Jules Bianchi. Trulli and Kubica are not good options. Massa should have no problem getting a seat in Indycars.
