Aston Martin AMR25

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Rear shot. Crash structure winglet still present as @wiktor977 said. A tiny bit of the diffuser

It's very impressive how they managed to squeeze any radiator inside those sidepods. They are very slim from the side with big undercut and very deep waterslides that start very early

It doesn't surprise me, for the simple fact that Mercedes even managed to remove the sidepods in 2022 and 2023. They are taking the concept of a double bottom to the extreme, given the sidepods that are now thin in all the leading teams. Aston Martin however maintains its philosophy of hollow sidepods, more than any other team

Maybe they are using a water intercooler like the works team instead of air to air

It looks like a flexible wing 23 apparently
Alonso tested a different wing

Look at the overbite, a portion sticks out, different from other teams

Opinions?

The overbite wing is similar to MCL38 and 39, SF25 and W13 and 14.
