I think it's a mistake for F1 to pay certain teams money just cause they've been in F1 a long time and it would be a mistake to pay a team to stay. I think Alonso wasn't mistreaterd by Alpine, it was a Otmar thing, with Otmar trying to walk a line between the 2 drivers, leaning a little too much towards Ocon when they were in negotiations with Alonso. Ocon got what he deserved, he's the worst team mate. I'm not sure how many cars he let pass, just so he could keep Alonso behind. I think Ocon has such a tiny wiener and because of that, all he can see on the track is his teammate and he can't bend for #2 driver.
