Still a LOT of the merc engines lagging back a bit!

Mercedes continues sandbagging and will ruin the year by being dominant again, is also an option

Was it that stupid? Hamilton seems to be in the mix just fine.
Yes because he was saying yesterday the cars were equal and it was Max making the difference. So yes, its very stupid.
It's not an outrageous take just looking at the FP2 time-table. Perez was in between Hamilton and Russell, so based on some assumptions one could argue that both teams perform approximately equally but Max stood out. Those assumptions/arguments were not clarified in the post as as such it was not a strong post, and I do not agree with the premise as such, but I do not agree with the notion that it was outright trolling either.
See how silly this sounds now? It's only practice.

Keep in mind that those top speeds are not necessarily from their fast laps. To speed without context means little as it could have been in tow or an off lap just testing max speed.

True, but all Merc engines at the bottom does indicate something. That is too precise.

Hard to see the purpose in Mercedes turning their engines down that far outside of saving engine wear maybe.

In previous years that wasn't part of their routine.

Because it was also a stupid comment. This isn’t Reddit.

I guess that's what you read in it ..
To me it's more that at this point Max is better to extract performance from his package; it's not really driver related, no d*** measuring, but just the driver/car/circumstance extraction of performance.
Anyone that thinks the Merc platform is inherently bad for the remainder of the season: think twice. Run as fast as you can while MB isn't on top of their game, as they will be rather sooner than later.

You know, you can leave people post stupid comments without responding in a disgusting way.
Some of us are getting real tired of stupid trolling comments(not talking about any one post specifically)! This used to be a forum for intelligent technically minded people, now it's no better than reddit. If something substantial isn't done about it, the forum will be in Twitter and Facebook territory before too long!

Bit off topic - but it's a good sign, that the new rules about track limits are working. Bearman lost his win in F3, because he left the track on last lap

Kukułka zwyczajna, kukułka pospolita – nazwy ludowe: gżegżółka, zazula (Cuculus canorus) – gatunek średniego ptaka wędrownego z podrodziny kukułek (Cuculinae) w rodzinie kukułkowatych (Cuculidae). Jedyny w Europie Środkowej pasożyt lęgowy. Zamieszkuje strefę umiarkowaną.

Here's the telemetry of the best laps from the top 3 teams:

RUS has a lift in his usual spot, other than that it's very close, the engine mode is close for all the top 3 teams.

Here's the approach to T1 for example on speed zoomed in:

And approach to T4:

Looking at RPM on T4 Ferrari is chilling quite a bit, considering both FER and MER in 8th gear:
Image

You can see that after the upshift to 8th MER continues to climb and FER calms down.

Notable in the telemetry is that LEC didn't take T6 as badly as in the previous attempts.

I don't see an engine mode difference here in the telemetry, in fact if anything it's FER that might have still something to give given the RPMs in some parts of the lap.

Plus FER indeed is now gaining a lot through T6 and T7 where it's the only car not lifting.

and this has nothing to do with engine mode.

Ultimately Q3 is the only answer anyway, but I don't think engine is the big difference now.

Did he get the penalty for a single infringement?

He had already been warned (but I don't know how many times)

Look at the reliability issues seen up and down the pit lane already. This year could very much be like the mid 80's where reliability plays a huge part in the standings!

Interesting around 4750m they all in same gear, but the merc is running much more RPMs, but the speed is down.

If they start taking away race wins i at least hope they'll have replays for every single infraction ... from what i know they did not show what it was for ...
