I strongly believe/hope that we switch to this Hypercar livery from next season. While the team said that they want stick to a consistent look, the livery usually gets a complete overhaul with every rules change.

I really liked the Silverstone Livery, I'd just reduce the Papaya or use it differently so it isn't sections of colour. Overlay the chrome with the Papaya perhaps.Macklaren wrote: ↑10 Jul 2025, 13:40A little bit of a McLaren content sidebar while we wait for these 3 weeks to pass.

But that's a livery for customer teams, not the factory team. Why would they change the F1 team to match a customer livery? If anything they'd match the factory hypercar, which was black and papayaMacklaren wrote: ↑10 Jul 2025, 13:40A little bit of a McLaren content sidebar while we wait for these 3 weeks to pass.

The sponsorship model that Zak has chosen is to avoid reliance on one major sponsor to provide the bulk of the corporate funding. This has the advantages of keeping McLaren free of interference as well as the vulnerability to a major pullout having to be replaced. Like the once ugly halo, these visual intrusions for me fade into the mix. I love papaya, probably for sentimental reasons as it started with the beautiful M6 and M8 CanAm cars and the M7 car that was the first GP winning McLaren in 1968. Very pure, very eye catching. The black carbon fibre domination of many of the F1 teams is of course all about weight saving.Jambier wrote: ↑10 Jul 2025, 20:15I like it.Macklaren wrote: ↑10 Jul 2025, 13:40A little bit of a McLaren content sidebar while we wait for these 3 weeks to pass.

The current f1 livery could be nice but … it cannot because there are too many sponsors.
With less sponsors it would be better
