Can someone please post the driver's long run times if they have them? I thought I saw they both hit some huge deg but I wasn't paying close enough attention.

Also Leclerc is mega in S2, basically unmatched there but his S1 really needs work.

Wonder if Lewis means the correction is the understeer issue he was complaining about on his medium tire race sim. he went from having very good pace in fp1 to really bad deg in fp2. soft tire runs looked good though

The answer to this question, IMHO, is two-fold. On the one hand they make the car`s ride height corrections before FP2, after seeing the plank wear in FP1 and estimating what it will be in the race, and on the other hand given that in sector 3 the tires gets overheating (both soft and medium one) they introduced some understeer to protect the rear tires from thermal deg due to overheating in this sector ...

Lewis said “Hello”..the rest of that was Ricky and he said fuel corrected.

Lewis asked a question and Ricky was silent. That’s why he say “hello”?

- "Everything went well this afternoon, even during the race simulation, we had a consistent pace. We pushed a bit too hard at the start of the simulation, but it’s good to be aggressive. It’s also encouraging for tomorrow, even though we’ll have to start from scratch because we’re so close. It will probably be a good battle, the best Friday since the start of the season."

- "You have to find a balance. Maybe at the start of the race, you’re a bit more conservative, but on the other hand, it’s realistic because you might be far off. Today, we pushed a bit too hard. I think it’s not a big deal because it’s the best way to find the limit, but you mustn’t go too far."

- "I hope the new floor helped us, but honestly, I think it’s more about putting everything together, good setups, and balance. Obviously, it helps because we’re in a better position, but it also allows us to pay more attention to details and create a sort of positive effect. Today, I think everything went very well, but we mustn’t get carried away with expectations, let’s focus on ourselves, especially since we’re not fully satisfied."

according to motorsport.it Ferrari can finally run the car lower and with more consistant load generated because of the new floor, Silverstone also being smooth and front limited is helping them as well.
