Vergne parked his car again on track shortly after he went out. Red flag again.

No, no this again.
They didn't save anything, even limited data from Jerez would be worth a lot, it's not only about engine and even knowledge/data about problems while running 10 s off the pace is valuable. It would be better for them if RB/TR/C had perfect reliability. Thinking that Renault problems are relative good for Lotus is bizarre, on the contrary if you start your season late the less problems you can have the better.

I don't understand why they can't have filming day before Bahrain to run engine, check systems, arrive day earlier and pay in 1% of team's shares ;-) problem solved. At least nose is considered legal.

Autosport:

15:45 Good news for Toro Rosso, as Jean-Eric Vergne heads out.
15:46 Make that bad news - he doesn't even make it to the pit exit before pulling to a halt. Red flag.

oh dear.....
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

AMuS reports that the longer absence on track today around noon was due to a gearbox problem, which took around 2 hours to be replaced.

Mercedes had to change the gearbox earlier today. Only took them 2 hours, that's not too bad. (Source: AMuS)

Thats quite a lot if you ask me. It often takes less to change a gearbox of a regular car.

But on a normal car your suspension is not mounted on the gearbox.

thats why it should even go faster if it's just to change a gearbox. :) It should be build to be changed quickly. But you have a point Anthony :)
