Long time reader here, I just decided to sign up.

The pictures are hiding interesting front and rear and top views, plus the delivery doesn't help either to see the shapes of the car, but it looks nothing like the new GP2 cars prepared by Dallara IMO.

The overall sidepods and car back looks clean and nice, reminds me the FW34 but not as tight, but vastly improved, the nose cone and front wing, on the other hand, looks really outdated and boxy. Less stepped than other cars, and even is higher than last year's, doesn't look good enough. Front wing is almost identical to the one used in Malaysia last year, only longer mount pylons, I wonder if is the final FW design.

Sweet design... There are very interesting flow curves under and on the sides of the body. That basic front wing could change b4 first GP.

& BTW, thanks!

Just got to prove they can do it now – Caterham have done it, lets hope HRT can be the next to make the jump to the big leagues.

Finally, the new car. I thought that this day could never come.

About the car, a bit similar to last year, but it is what other teams are doing. There is no room for radical stuff with the actual regulations. The rear seems quite compact thanks to the Williams's gearbox. Not as refined as the top teams, but it's ok for them. One step at a time.

Front push rods seem to be conected quite low to the chasis, or am i wrong?

Basic car, but that's what they need to begin with: something easy to understand. With De la Rosa's experience, that won't take too much time

I wonder if the guy who put the KH-7 stickers on the factory knew what was the outside part of the end plates  or they are saving the main car spots for a bigger sponsor?

Nice finding!, the livery absolutely matches Banco Popular web site/corporate colors :o

They have put money already in recognizable spanish faces like Pau Gasol, I quickly checked and is not like they are expanding internationally like other spanish banks, but they seem focused on developing eastern european countries, I really hope we see the agreement on time for Australia.

It seems that Banco Popular was the main creditor for the previous owner, so the pieces seem to click, I hope it gets done and HRT starts having some cash flow.

I sure hope so, its that light at the end of the tunnel all the fans have been hoping for a long time. The thing with big sponsors it can be a good thing mostly but it can also be a bad thing. It's good if a company can give you loads of cash in return for advertising and brand visibility its another thing if they provide a team with loads of cheap credit. What we learnt from Carabantes was that excessive debt can be the down fall of a team, Luckily Thesan Capital were the ones to take over HRT and kept the team going. Who knows what other creditors would have done. Maybe because the team itself did not owe much money that's why HRT survived for so long.

So we see teams with all the funding and sponsors but we don't really know how much money they owe and someday we might wake up to a surprise. Like what Colin Kolles said last year.

I think the red is too dark for it to be Caixa Catalunya, which could have made sense as de la Rosa is Catalan.
