What about yesterday's Qualifying? He didn't had problems yesterday with visibility. Is it because cars usually had greater distance at that point?

i would surmise its because there is a lot more water on the track than yesterday - we wernt seeing anything like the roosters yesterday that we are today

Maybe them having had a lot less downforce helped there - these cars clear the track faster, but that water goes up in a bigger rooster tail too.

So it looks like Lando is driving with older engine today. Makes sense.

I went out when the start was delayed to take care of something and I am going back home now. Are we going to have a race today?

for one thing, they did stop the races back then too, but i think it is true todays racing is a lot more risk averse. And this being Spa, the spray can just hang in the air. There was a massive pile up at Spa in 98, and dont think it was as bad as it is today.

On the Perez thing, so far as i thought, it wasnt about whether the race had started or not, but they withdrew the car from the race

if it gets run tomorrow, its ok for mclaren i guess - if it just cancelled its bad - you got DR in P4 and a Lando that is totally comfortable with his car in changeable conditions ready to pounce

Question guys, could Lando of instead ran a higher wing and started from the pitlane instead of 15th? or is that not possible, because I'm sure Perez did it in Silverstone

From a standings perspective, it's a bit of a negative as this is a track where they seem to have the edge over Ferrari.


I don't see them coming back here if they don't race today.
